“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success” – Alexander Graham Bell.

Sunday ti o ma l’oyin, a ti Saturday l’an ti n mọ̀ọ́ – A Yoruba saying that means a promising future can be depicted from today. The future of leadership in the hands of Adewale Ishola is assuredly promising as the ‘Sunday’ that will be honey filled, considering his renditions on ‘Saturday’ (the present days even before he attains any official position of political leadership).

Adewale Ishola is that one person who has embraced leadership without position, inputting his quota of change, empathy, and emancipation in his immediate environment, without a compulsion to do so; it is only wise for those of us who yearn for true leadership, see the fruits Adewale Ishola is yielding, field him, support him, and ensures he attains the very platforms of authority where his impact can be enormously felt as he poses to be the reform we seek in our political spaces.

Who is Adewale Ishola?

Hamed Adewale Ishola, also known as Alanu Mékúnù is that man who embarked on grassroots tour of all eleven wards in Egbeda and several wards in Ona Ara in 2017, where he demonstrated a deep and sincere connection with the people he sought to represent, as he has been aspiring to represent the good people of Egbeda and Ona Ara Federal Constituency, but was later asked to step down in a primary election; undeterred, everything working for good, he moved on and found Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019 whom he actively mobilized grassroot support for particularly in Egbeda and Ona-Ara, towards the re-election of the Governor. And ever since, it’s been a revelation of good deeds upon good deeds as philanthropy never seems to be exhaustible off his sleeves; continuously contributing to anything and everything good in his immediate environment and beyond.

He is distinguishedly identified by his empathy cum benevolence and philanthropy, youth empowerment, and advocacy for economic transformation and good governance; little wonder he is a ‘GSM’ person. One may say, his intentions drive him; but to be fair to him, we undoubtedly have people with aspirations who still do nothing, and also people who hold political offices already, aspire for more, and yet have no credible scorecard to complement their years in office? Hence, why I reiterate more succinctly that Adewale Ishola has been benevolent simply because he is benevolent. He is who he think he is, and one who is exemplary of the qualities we seek for in leaders if we truly seek improvement in our societies and country at large.

The founder of Wally Walters Foundation which has empowered many, given scholarships, and implemented several life-changing humanitarian projects; particularly discharged towards the less privileged, youths, and elderly; earning him the title – Alanu Mékúnù. A technocrat seasoned in the healthcare sector, having delivered quality healthcare to over hundreds of people is a great fit for emotional empathy and implementation of sustainable healthcare policies for his people if given the opportunity to lead a platform he can freely discharge this capacity of experience, influence, and resources garnered as a health professional.

With these, choosing, supporting, and voting Adewale Ishola implies adopting youth empowerment, good and sustainable healthcare system, relief for the elderly, technology-based solutions, empathy and inclusion towards all demography, and economic improvement of the Egbeda and Ona-Ara constituency. As always has been, Adewale Ishola will empower the voiceless and be accessible to all.

“Except commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans” – Peter F. Drucker.

Adewale Ishola has proven commitment, he has proven to have plans. Ọmọ tí yíò je Àsàmú, kékeré ni yíò ti ṣe ẹnu sámú sámú; Adewale Ishola ti ṣe ẹnu sámú sámú, ẹ jẹ́ ka sọ́ ní Àsàmú, kí ó le tán ìsẹ́ mékúnù ní Egbeda àti Ona-Ara.
